The perfect place to stay while you see the island.

We’re in Karterados — about 3 km from the airport, 8 km from the port, and fifteen minutes on foot to Fira. A simple, friendly base if you want Santorini without living on the caldera.

Where you’ll stay

Our rooms

Clean, straightforward rooms with shower, fridge, air conditioning, and a balcony or outdoor seat. Guests also share our pool, terrace, and outdoor corners — a place to cool off after a day on the island. Tell us your dates and we’ll confirm what’s free.

How we can help

Swiss care, island ease

We speak German, English, and Greek. Ask us about airport or port transfers, a rental car, bus routes, or a taverna we still like ourselves.

Stay with us for the whole trip, or after a few nights on the caldera — either way, Atlas is a good base for beaches, villages, and the rest of the island.

When are you open?

We’re open from 1 May – 31 October. Outside those dates we’re closed for the winter.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 14:00, check-out by 11:00. Need an earlier arrival or later departure? Write it in your request and we’ll do our best.

How far are Fira, the airport, and the port?

Fira is about 1.2 km (around 15 minutes on foot). The airport is about 3 km, the port about 8 km.

Is parking available?

Yes — free parking on site.

Is breakfast available?

We don’t serve a cooked breakfast, but a breakfast box is available on request — just ask when you write to us.

Can you help with transfers or a rental car?

Yes. Tick the options on your request, or see The hotel for buses, transfers, and getting around the island.

Are children welcome?

Yes. Families stay with us often — we have a family room with four beds, and you can ask for a baby cot when you request.
